Reading Van Hire News
Over the recent months many of you will have heard about the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) which is coming into effect on the 8th April 2019 in London.

To drive a hire van or car abroad you currently need to have your GB or Northern Ireland photo card driving licence (or a valid paper-only licence issued before 31/03/2000), insurance, green card and a VE103 form as proof the vehicle is on hire with permission to take it abroad. You also need to have reflective jackets, a warning triangle and bulb set. You may also require a breathalyser (compulsory in France), GB car sticker (if it’s a non-GB Euro number plate) and first aid kit (compulsory in Austria, France and Germany).
